Our preliminary numbers are in from auction!!! Thank you so much to the teachers, parents, grandparents and community members that supported us! The schools fund an item is fully paid for and we have a great start to next
year's budget!! We are currently at $38,500!!!!!!

WHAT IS GWPO?
GWPO stands for Grant Watts Parent Organization and is staffed solely by parent volunteers.
Our motto, “Partners In Education” guides us as we engage with staff at Grant Watts Elementary to make every student’s learning experience the best it can be.
The purpose of this organization is to encourage the involvement of families and community for the benefit of Grant Watts School. This involvement may include, but is not limited to, fundraising, curricular enrichment, and activities which enhance the culture and climate of the school. The members of GWPO believe parents are partners in the educational process.
We meet once a month in the Grant Watts Library at 7:00pm to coordinate various programs and activities at Grant Watts Elementary. Anyone who has a child attending Grant Watts is welcome and encouraged to attend. We love seeing new faces!
GWPO sponsors and/or coordinates many special events at the school including:
Bingo Night
Fall Harvest Festival
Family Fun Night
Turkey Trot
Teacher Treat Day
Annual Spring Auction
In addition to these fun events, GWPO’s successful fundraising efforts have enabled us to sponsor the following items:
$250 Special Teacher Allowance for every teacher
Junior Great Books Program
Art Literacy Program
Walks-A-Lot
Field trips for all grade levels
School assemblies
3rd grade swim lessons
Author visits
We have also been able to contribute to the purchase of technology for the school, books for the library, office supplies, playground equipment and much much more!
We encourage you to become active in your child’s school and hope your involvement will include participation in GWPO.
GWPO has some exciting news! You can now link your Fred Meyer Rewards Card to GWPO and start raising money for Grant Watts every time you shop. Its basically FREE money for GWPO!
It is super EASY and FAST to link your card, so please take a couple of minutes to do so now. Please use the following link to get started:

Its that EASY! Now every time you shop, you will be earning money for GWPO and our students!
